Durolane

Contraindications

• Do not inject DUROLANE® with knee joint infections, infections, or skin disease in the area of the injection site.
• Do not administer to patients with known hypersensitivity (allergy) to HA preparations.

How to Use

• The product should only be injected by a qualified specialist familiar with joint injections. 
• Always use a strict aseptic technique when injecting.
• Inject only into the joint cavity.
• Some joints may require image guidance to ensure correct placement and avoid important nearby structures.
• Choose an injection route that avoids any vital structures.
• Clean the injection site with alcohol or another suitable antiseptic.
• If joint effusion is present, remove it before injection. The same needle may be used for both aspiration and injection.
• Note: Smaller needles may require more pressure to inject the product.
