Synvisc One

Synvisc-One, also known as Synvisc One Hylan g-f 20, is a viscosupplement that contains Hylan polymers and effectively reduces the pain in the knee caused by osteoarthritis. It is intended for patients who couldn't find relief with physical therapy or anti-inflammatory medications. Synvisc One injection delivers the fluid into the knee joint, providing lubrication and improving its elasticity. The treatment requires three injections for more effective results. Synvisc One injection results may last up to 6 months.

Indications

• Osteoarthritis (OA) knee pain 

Contraindications

• Not recommended for use in patients with known hypersensitivity (allergy) to hyaluronan (sodium hyaluronate). 
• Not suitable for individuals with knee joint infections or skin diseases in the area of the injection site. 
• The safety of Synvisc One Hylan g-f 20 during pregnancy or breastfeeding isn’t confirmed. 

Instructions for Use 

• The product is intended for professional use and should be administered by a qualified healthcare professional. 
• Remove synovial fluid or effusion before injection. 
• Use only if the package is intact and the product is at room temperature.
• Handle the syringe by the barrel and maintain strict aseptic technique.
• Twist and then remove the grey tip cap to prevent leakage.
• Inject only into the synovial space, and use the syringe once only.
